HSN (HNBR) 80 568-401

Ordered as HSN80401, this is an AS568-401 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). The o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where esters or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
