HSN (HNBR) 80 568-405

The HSN80405 is an AS568-405 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.975 in (50.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.525 in (64.14 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, heavy-duty powertrain, and engine timing systems.
