HSN (HNBR) 80 568-406

The HSN80406 is an AS568-406 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.65 in (67.31 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
