HSN (HNBR) 80 568-408

Part number HSN80408 is an AS568-408 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.35 in (59.69 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.9 in (73.66 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).
