HSN (HNBR) 80 568-409

The HSN80409 is an AS568-409 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.475 in (62.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.025 in (76.84 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and heavy-duty powertrain.
