HSN (HNBR) 80 568-413

The HSN80413 is an AS568-413 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.975 in (75.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.525 in (89.54 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and automotive air conditioning.
