HSN (HNBR) 80 568-418

The HSN80418 is an AS568-418 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.6 in (91.44 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.15 in (105.41 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids are present.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.

HSN80418 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 3 5/8 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
