Ordered as HSN80422, this is an AS568-422 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.1 in (104.14 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.65 in (118.11 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
