HSN (HNBR) 80 568-423

The HSN80423 is an AS568-423 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.775 in (121.29 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.
