This o-ring is supplied in AS568-426 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80426. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters are present.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.
