HSN (HNBR) 80 568-440

HSN80440 is an AS568-440 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or esters call for a different compound.
