Ordered as HSN80445, this is an AS568-445 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.975 in (202.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.525 in (216.54 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.
