HSN (HNBR) 80 568-449

APG stocks the HSN80449, an AS568-449 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones are present.
