HSN (HNBR) 80 568-454

APG stocks the HSN80454, an AS568-454 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.

Typical settings include engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
