Part number HSN80463 is an AS568-463 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.505 in (444.63 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or esters are present.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
