HSN (HNBR) 80 568-474

HSN80474 is an AS568-474 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.49 in (647.45 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
