HSN (HNBR) 80 568-475

The HSN80475 is an AS568-475 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.49 in (672.85 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in esters or ketones.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
