HSN (HNBR) 80 568-901

The HSN80901 is an AS568-901 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
