HSN80906 is an AS568-906 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.468 in (11.89 mm), a cross section of 0.078 in (1.98 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.624 in (15.85 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
