HSN (HNBR) 80 568-912

HSN80912 is an AS568-912 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.
