Part number HSN80916 is an AS568-916 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.403 in (35.64 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
