This u-cup seal is supplied in Buna-N (Nitrile) supplied with a 5/8 inch inside diameter, a 2-3/4 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/8 inch, catalogued under part number K276. It provides low breakaway friction with strong sealing under load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ketones call for a different compound.
