Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for very high tensile strength and load capacity, outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Applications involving acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
