Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for very high tensile strength and load capacity, toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. It is not the right choice where prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or ketones are present.
