In service, this loaded lip seal uses a flexible sealing lip energized by system pressure to hold a tight seal on a moving rod or piston. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure.
