The L50008000 is a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Standard Profile Loaded Lip Seal supplied with an 8 inch inside diameter, a 9 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/2 inch. This loaded lip seal combines a preloaded lip with pressure activation for consistent dynamic sealing. The catalog record notes: Loaded Lip Seal (standard) Urethane.

Expect good resistance to ozone, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or acids and bases are present.
