The H70MD045 is an AS568-045 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
