The H70MD105 is an AS568-105 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against water, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or polar solvents.
