This o-ring is supplied in AS568-123 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.174 in (29.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.38 in (35.05 mm), catalogued under part number H70MD123. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or ketones are present.
