H70MD143 is an AS568-143 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.425 in (61.6 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.631 in (66.83 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and water. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
