H70MD146 is an AS568-146 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.612 in (66.34 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.818 in (71.58 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

This item is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in general industrial maintenance, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
