Ordered as H70MD160, this is an AS568-160 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.237 in (133.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.443 in (138.25 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and water. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.
