Part number H70MD167 is an AS568-167 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or strong acids will shorten service life.
