Part number H70MD169 is an AS568-169 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against water, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to strong acids or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
