H70MD175 is an AS568-175 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.987 in (228.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.193 in (233.5 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, water, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with ketones or automotive brake fluid.
