The H70MD252 is an AS568-252 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.234 in (132.94 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.512 in (140 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, propane and butane, and water. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, fluid power, and construction equipment.
