H70MD315 is an AS568-315 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include automotive, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general industrial maintenance.
