H70MD356 is an AS568-356 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.35 in (135.89 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.77 in (146.56 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or polar solvents call for a different compound.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive, agricultural equipment, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
