H70MD361 is an AS568-361 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.395 in (162.43 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists water, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
