H70MD379 is an AS568-379 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.395 in (289.43 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
