Part number H70MD392 is an AS568-392 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.36 in (593.34 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, automotive, and general industrial maintenance.
