Part number H70MD404 is an AS568-404 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.85 in (46.99 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.4 in (60.96 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and water. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong acids are present.
