Part number H70MD450 is an AS568-450 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.025 in (280.04 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include automotive, general industrial maintenance, and agricultural equipment.
