The H70MD454 is an AS568-454 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.

This o-ring is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, automotive, and agricultural equipment.
