H70MD912 is an AS568-912 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists water, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.
