H70MD916 is an AS568-916 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.403 in (35.64 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It resists propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or ozone and direct sunlight are present.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment.
