This o-ring is supplied in AS568-035 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 2.239 in (56.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.379 in (60.43 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD035. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
