Part number V75MD043 is an AS568-043 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.489 in (88.62 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.629 in (92.18 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
