This o-ring is supplied in AS568-046 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.239 in (107.67 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.379 in (111.23 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD046. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
