Part number V75MD047 is an AS568-047 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
